L.A. League of Conservation Voters Opposes Measure O
Hermosa Beach, CA, February 9 — The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters calls for a NO vote on Hermosa Beach Measure O.
“It’s vital that voters say NO to Measure O because allowing oil drilling in Hermosa Beach poses serious threats to residents and their quality of life,” said LALCV President Tom Eisenhauer.
“We are very grateful the League of Conservation Voters have endorsed a no vote on Measure O. Environmental organizations have all joined together in opposition to oil drilling in Hermosa Beach, the Sierra Club, Surfrider Foundation and Heal the Bay are among the many groups that have taken a stand against Measure O,” said Stacey Armato with Stop Hermosa Beach Oil.
“The City’s own independent Final Environmental Impact Review identifies nine significant and unavoidable impacts if Measure O is approved. LALCV encourages voters to protect Hermosa Beach, Santa Monica Bay and our coast by voting NO on Measure O,” said LALCV President Tom Eisenhauer.
